This swimming course enables adults to learn swimming from four fundamental strokes to more structured swimming techniques. This is also the best course for athletes in preparation for competition or race to achieve flawless stroke techniques and drills.
Adults generally have been exposed to water and somehow have acquired certain skills that can be used as a starting point in preparation to a formal swimming program. The approach in teaching the sport to this age level is very similar to much younger students like proper breathing patterns or cycle, gliding, streamlining, propulsion before introducing the four fundamental strokes namely; freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. The problems of most adults in the learning process are their great fear of the water or so much tension in mind and body, availability and sometimes shyness. Some reasons why adults desire to learn the fundamentals of swimming are correction or polishing of acquired aquatic skills, for physical therapy to shed off fats and weight, boosts lung capacity, improve cardiovascular activity, relieve back pains, correct bad posture etc.
